The AKG C1000S
condenser microphone is ready for any assignment on stage or in the studio.
Powering is by internal 9V battery or external phantom supply. The supplied
Polar Pattern Converter allows quick changeover from cardioid to
hypereardioid
and provides a gentle roll-off (6c1B/octave) below 200Hz for reduced proximity
effect. Also supplied is
a Presence Boost
Adaptor that allows you to boost the high frequencies between 5 and 9kHz
by approximately 3-5dB for better intelligibility or picking up instruments
with a high amount of overtones.
